Pixel 10a Review: Is this Budget Pixel finally worth it in 2026? (2026)

I've never had a great experience with Pixels, but I decided to give them another shot. I recently purchased the Pixel 10a, a mid-range device, and I'm impressed so far. The phone's performance, battery life, and software are all strong points. The camera, while not the most impressive on paper, is decent, and Google's AI capabilities make it shine. The battery life is a game-changer, lasting up to seven hours on a single charge, which is a significant improvement over my Galaxy S24. However, I'm still cautious about Google's track record with Pixels. The Tensor chip, in particular, feels like a potential weak point, and I wonder how well it will hold up over time. The design, while not groundbreaking, is a step up from previous Pixels, but I miss the unique camera bar from the Pixel 6. Overall, the Pixel 10a is a solid choice, but I'll remain cautious until I've had it for a while without issues. It's a great secondary device for testing Android features, but I'll still rely on my Samsungs for my daily driver.
